The story was inspired by the raging gales and roaring waves I experienced on Sherkin Island, Ireland, while self-studying about sumerian civilization, its mythology and patriarchy.
I'd often wonder if the ocean were to drag me into its deep belly, would I find a weeping, betrayed and forgotten sea goddess there? And what story would she tell me?
